Prospering & Flourishing in the Y.O.S

Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked or stand in the way of sinners or sit in the seat of mockers. But his delight is in the law of the LORD,and on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. - Psalm 1:1-3

But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God's unfailing love for ever and ever. I will praise you forever for what you have done; in your name I will hope, for your name is good. I will praise you in the presence of your saints. - Psalm 52:8-9

Dear sons, I want to urge and spur us to always remember and be mindful that in this Year of Sabbath (Y.O.S), God's heart for us is that we will still prosper and flourish!

Seemingly doing less, but yet hearts full of faith trusting in God for providence.

Seemingly more and more things may cramp into our schedule, but yet we are not overwhelmed because we rest in the Lord.

Seemingly more and more things need our immediate attention, but yet we do not become anxious and jump into everything.

Let's guard out heart in this year, that we do not fall into pride or taking God's word for granted.

Resting in God is different from resting and doing nothing! It's about doing the right things and doing things right.
