Dear sons, as much as we receive and hear from Pastor Khong regarding "Brokenness" yesterday during service, what would be the key application through this week as we ponder on the message?
Like I shared, God is not a killjoy. Many times we think of brokenness as shattered lives, some major disasters happening...etc WRONG! It's is not just that all! This mentality makes it sound like God is bad. In fact God wants to give us the good things in life and enable us to enjoy life to the fullest! (Ecclesiastes 2:24)
Brokenness simply means coming back to FULL DEPENDENCE & RELIANCE on God and God alone!
Brokenness means acknowledging the Lord in EVERY CIRCUMSTANCES & ANYTIME!
Practical Tips:
1. When all things around you doesn't seem to work out, be mindful to pray first before you begin lamenting.
2. What is coming out from your mouth? Is it words of Faith and edification? Or just gibberish nonsense that brings no value to you and people around?
3. Can we make persistent effort to spend that one-hour of prayer with the Lord? I am sure without TV and Computer Games now, we can do that right? No excuses.
