Work Work??

Had an interesting day at work today (Fri 13/06). As you all know, I'm working at planet CRuSH for the past 2 months. So here's the story :

9.20am : Reach office with Tea and 2 slices of Bread. (left them in cafe area)
9.25am : On the computer and check e-mail.
9.30am: Edit some work from the previous day.
10.05am: Stopped editing and Supervisor assign new work, which is to upload some pictures into computers for a group of JunYuan sec students who are coming later in the afternoon. (include toilet break)
10.50am : Arrival of TPE group. This means I have to take care of them for the next 3 hours.
11.30am : Eat my Bread and drink my Tea.
1.50pm : TPE group leave and the arrival of the Junyuan Sec students.
3.00pm : Arrival of next TPE group.
5.30pm : Need to edit some work for evening Wii Carnival Briefing and 14th June, Winning Eleven Group Stages match. (TPE Group leave.)
6.45pm : Dinner
7pm : Wii Carnival Briefing
9.45pm : Leave office.

Well that sums up my day. If i get to rate how i feel at the end of the day, I'll rate a 7.5 - 8 for my day in office. Why? Because I manage to settle a lot of work today. To me, I don't really like to stop doing my work once i got the momentum going because I may not be able to continue that momentum.

However, It is at the expanse of my meal times. (Please don't go to the ministry of manpower and report! I took breaks by playing CS with the TPE Groups.) Have I become a Work-a-holic? And I really have to agree with brother Jar, that it is not very good to skip meals to do work.

So Bros and Dad, what's your take?

Welcome to the working world son! :)

Haha.. what you have gone through is a typical working day especially with many events piling up.

But it takes conscious effort to take time out to rest (which includes eating lunch, fellowship..etc)

We recognize that there are times when it is not easy. But still gotta make effort.

Prolonged forgoing of meals make bring dangerous effects i.e. gastric.

Another tip: If you know your schedule will be tight through the day, maybe can com earlier to spend time with God or can have heavier breakfast. :)
