Cell Fund Matters

I apologise for any incovenience and uneasiness with this post on the financial department of EJAO combined cell a.k.a CELL FUND...

Understand that we just transit over into a new year of 2009, ending 2008 witha BIG BANG!!! A lot of stuffs piled up at the end of 08... My Hope Project, Cell Retreat, Countdown Party, so thats why cell fund matters is chucked one side... Agreed & Understandable...

I'm here to shed some light on cell fund matters to enlighten some newcomers and some not-so-new veterans who are still blur abt this system

Purpose of Cell Fund: To incultivate into each member a sense of contribution to the body (cell) as well as a sense of belonging (very PCA i know, but must still say it)

Uses of Cell Fund: To pay for members birthday cakes, presents, subsides for official cell events such as retreats and outings (Quite self explanatory, still dunno? please come find me)

People in charge of cell fund: Cheong Jun Jie/JJ & Ee Jay only... Just like every country finance minister, i report directly to the BOSS EJ

* I know its kinda dumb to instruct who to pay cell fund to, but i need to cover all areas of possible blurness and excuses

How much to pay?
As of effect from 1 October 2008, all members under the combined EJAO cell AGE 18 & above are required to pay $2 per sunday

As of effect from 1 October 2008, all members under the combined EJAO cell AGE 17 & below are only required to pay $1 per sunday

Examples:
Jan 2009 have 4 sundays, 18 & above pay $8, below 18 pay $4 for mnth
Nov 2008 have 5 sundays, 18 & above pay $10 below 18 pay $5 for mnth
(very easy math, still have a problem? Try re-study ur primary 1-4 math textbooks)

Methods and mediums of payment:
ONLY cash in SGD, exact amount greatly appreciated...

I DO NOT accept foreign currencies, NETS, VISA, GIRO, CREDIT CARDS
(please spare a thought for my life)

Who needs to pay?
Currently, 16 people are obligated to pay cell fund:

* If your name is not in the above list, you do nt need to pay to cell fund YET
please try nt to gung-ho/rambo to start pay cell fund cos its a long, costly commitment...

Conclusion:
Money is always a sticky issue to handle... please make my job a joy.. yeah?? Thanks.. God bless the cell fund... AMEN!

EeJay-Alvin's 12 Retreat

Date: 14th - 16th March 2008
(FRIDAY night till Sunday morning)
Venue: Changi Rise Condominium, Blk 18, Unit 01-47

Check-in on: 14th March, 7:00pm. Please packed dinner along.
Check-out on: 16th March, 11:30am.

Programme outline:

1. RESTing in the Lord through sharing sessions by EeJay & Alvin
2. RESTing in the Lord through fellowship with brothers and maybe sisters (Julee cell will come in on Saturday afternoon)
3. RESTing through chill-out sessions organised by Jasper and Frans on Saturday
4. RESTing through fitness & exercise session with Leonard Koh through R.E.S.T (so please feel free to bring along your tennis rackets, swimming trunks and gym wears)

Let's all be excited and look forward to this restful retreat! (but not backsliding ah!)

Note:

1. Can someone bring a digi-cam? Realised we seldom take pictures as a cell!
2. May not have enough bed space, so do bring sleeping bags.
3. Of course, bring along writing materials, Bible.
4. No PSP or electronic games allowed!

Rules and Regulations

this is Vasilli Zeitsev here. You should know who I am. I have to set some rules and regulations for u people to follow. Here goes:

1. No longwinded posts. Keep it succinct, straight to matter; point form.
2. No cell group admin is to be handled here
3. No girls talk here + No girls allowed in here (I'm allergic to them)
4. No nonsense. (I've got no time for crap). Keep blog low profile
5. Dun change the settings of the blog. Keep it simple
6. This is not a complain blog. Dun voice ur grievances here. Keep posts neutral
7. ALL people outside Ee Jay and Alvin Ong combined cell are NOT allowed to log in here. (Keep our sensitive issues here only)
