Hey brothers and leaders!

Guess you all didn't really hear must from me, esp after the big transition period. So I'm here to give a short update.

I guess this period come at a rather uncomfortable time for me because since the past few weeks my schedule in army and church is really really hectic with outfield that stretches across weekends, Gkidz encounter and my Unit being on standby, meaning that I can be recalled back to camp 24/7/365 and not mentioning all the preparations.

But don't worry, doesn't mean that you all nv hear much from me cause I'm not in service means I'm taking it badly. Just that I'm abit tired and just need some spiritual and physical rest to recollect my thoughts and get the momentum going to bash through this next lap of our Spiritual walk.

I'm planning to get this rest while serving as Spiritual Guide for my boys in the Gkidz encounter later!! haha.. So please pray for me! for strength and restedness as I lead!!

My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my Heart and my Portion forever. -Psalm 73:26

We sing this song all the time, but now it's the time to really claim and lay hold of it!!

Stronger

This song meant alot to me through this entire week as I battled with disappointments in ministry and physically impeded in my health.

I know and believe with all my heart that Jesus bore the Cross to give me the victory. And I hold that closely to my heart, so that I can be stronger in Christ!

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Hallelujah!

STRONGER (by Hillsongs, This Is Our God)

VERSE 1:
There is Love
That came for us
Humbled to a sinnerĂ¢€™s cross
You broke my shame and sinfulness
You rose again victorious

VERSE 2:
Faithfulness none can deny
Through the storm
And through the fire
There is truth that sets me free
Jesus Christ who lives in me

CHORUS:
You are stronger
You are stronger
Sin is broken
You have saved me
It is written
Christ is risen
Jesus You are Lord of all

VERSE 3:
No beginning and no end
You're my hope and my defence
You came to seek and save the lost
You paid it all upon the cross

BRIDGE:
So let Your Name be lifted higher
Be lifted higher
Be lifted higher

Changes and Transitions

Hey Fellow Brothers how is everyone feeling admist all the changes???
Though theoretically speaking it might seems as just a movement of members and alignment of leadership.

Deep inside i feel pretty unsure admist all these changes. There are many what and whys in my heart.
What is the outcome of these changes in the long run?
Why do i have to be the one chosen?

As many whats and whys we might have in our hearts, i am pretty sure that a spirit of unrest is within us. We were moved out of our comfort zone, made to embark on platforms we never knew.
To some of us even leadership alignment had to be shifted.

Amongst all these changes, i realise we are all being called out of our original comfort zone. In the bible we have tons of examples. King made exiled, Commanders being made blind, common peasents called upon to lead the country.

All in all many examples can be cited from the bible but i would like to highlight Joseph (husband of mary), . Though he might just have a introductory role in the new testament, he had a great deal of transition which God had put him through.

The Birth of Jesus Christ
18This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit. 19Because Joseph her husband was a righteous man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

20But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus," because he will save his people from their sins."

22All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23"The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"—which means, "God with us."

24When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife. 25But he had no union with her until she gave birth to a son. And he gave him the name Jesus.

Here is what Joseph had to go through pulling him from his daily comforts:

  1. Leaving his business (Carpentry)
  2. Exile out of his town (Nazareth)
  3. Wife pregnant thru holy spirit (Jesus)
He shut down his businesses, made his family packed and leave. He did all these all in obedience towards God.

Bear in mind Joseph career before he was called upon by the angel of God. He was a carpenter. A carpenter some one who is very plan oriented, he plans and measures before every cut, visualise and picture before every chisel. Now, he was called upon by God. A mysterious pregnancy, a sudden exile lastly having to tend to his wife delivery of Jesus.

A person whose life have been governed by plans yet he had to live in a life of speculation and uncertainty. A carpenter made a nomad even made to tend to his wife delivery. His plans and comfort of his life was totally disrupted being challenged by what is unseen. We may debate that his sighting of Angel was an added conviction to what God has called upon.

But at the end of the day obedience was the key! If Joseph chose to divorce Mary, failed to exile from Nazareth and even failed to bring up Jesus all things might have been different. So to all my brothers let's rise up to God's challenge by challenging the uncharted waters out of our comfort zones!!

Bobby:)

I want to GROW!! Embrace the word of God..

Despite my 3years in church, leading members, serving the Lord in ministry.. i personally feel there're still so much Much MUCH to Grow in the Lord..

What have you been thinking everyday of your life? play game, watch tv, go out with friends? "I want to have fun!!" you may say..

Not in denial, I do have the same desire too.. God wants us to have fun and enjoy our everyday life! Not forgetting He wants to us to be successful and prosperous!!

But some of us may ask, "Then howcome so many problems?" or "Why i just struggle or cannot do what is right?"

In Joshua 1:7-8
"Be strong and courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of Law always on your lips; mediate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful."

"Can we really be successful or be a winner? It's so tough!! so many things to do"

God told us to be Strong and Courageous in the beginning because He knows it's going to be tough for us but it worth all our effort and hard work. He know our circumstances we are in everytime. He understands.

"Serious? Can we really be strong and courageous all times? How?"

He advised us to be careful and obey every law of HIS. Do not be smart and try to bend His meaning in the bible to the left or right, deceiving ourselves.

"Must i really obey all His Law? How can we make sure we always obey His law?"

You want to be a winner in life, you must obey! You want your life to be better, you obey! if you called yourself a son of God, you better obey! He told us to keep speaking and thinking of His Law everyday 24-7. He asked us to keep the Book of Law always on our lips and mediate in our mind and thoughts day and night!

My spiritual family, bible is not for us to read only. It's for us to embrace the word of God by speaking, thinking and applying everyday of our lives. Let's grow Grow GROW!! Let's have the desire and put it in action!

Let us better remember whatever is taught in church and what our leaders said! Fight your circumstance with strength and courage! because..

1John 4:4
"...the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world!"

God bless ya Family! Let's multiply! =)

Homeless Korean dies with 100,000 dollars in bank

News Report from Yahoo! News

SEOUL (AFP) - - A homeless South Korean unable to withdraw his life savings because he could not remember his real name has died in poverty, officials said.

The man, believed to be aged 56, died of cancer last month, leaving 128 million won (just over 100,000 dollars) in a bank account that was opened in early 1993 under the alias of Na Hae-Dong.

The account was frozen several months later when a law took effect to ban accounts held under false names, as an anti-corruption measure.

Deposits were still allowed but the account holder had to register a real name to withdraw money, something "Na" could not do.

"He didn't know what his real name was or where he was born. We tried but failed to identify him," Yoo Joon-Soo, the senior official of Yongbong district in the southwestern city of Gwangju, told AFP by phone.

The man collected scrap iron and other junk and slept on his cart under plastic sheets before moving in 2007 into a makeshift shelter made from a shipping container.

Though he could not withdraw from the account, he kept putting in savings.

"He used to say he wanted to buy a home with his savings," Yoo said.

"Last month, we applied for court approval to create his new ID and the court procedure was under way."

A local court is expected to order that the savings revert to the state, he added.

THINKER THOTS

As we read this news report, a good time for us to reflect as well on how we have been spending our time and the purpose of our pursuits i.e. studies, career, money, relationships, results...etc in life?

Matthew 16:6
What good will it be for a man if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matthew 6:19-20
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal."
